Sometimes I wonder if I am truly living. Sometimes I wonder if most people even live their lives. We are trained in society to grow up in school, automatically go to college, get a full time job working 40 + hours a week, get married and have kids, raise them, get old and die. It has become the American formula for success. It confuses me. Most people don't make time for God or anything of that nature in their lives. Sometimes I think we should change the word life to routine because that is what it has become in the time we live in now. We wake up, eat breakfast, go to work, come home, spend some time with friends or family, go to sleep, then repeat. Most people don't know anything outside of that and how sad that must be. Everyone knows how fragile life is and how short it can be but it seems we chase after frivalous things never the less. I wonder if people even know what it is to truly live.
